How to activate Halo Mobile on Android

Install your eSIM on Pixel, Galaxy, or any eSIM-ready Android. Set Halo as your default for data and calls, then transfer your number.

STEP-BY-STEPSix steps to activate Halo on Android

Open the SIM setup screen
Open Settings → Network & internet → SIMs → Add SIM → Download a SIM instead. The exact path is similar on Pixel, Samsung Galaxy, and most current Android devices, with minor wording changes.

Install your Halo eSIM
Scan the QR code from your Halo dashboard, or paste the activation code if your device asks for it manually. The download takes a few seconds.

Set Halo as default for data and calls
When prompted, set the Halo SIM as your default for mobile data, calls, and SMS. You can change this any time in Settings → Network & internet → SIMs.

Restart your phone
Restart so Android can finish provisioning. Wait for the Halo carrier name to appear in the status bar before testing.

Test your service
Make a test call, send a test text, and load a web page on cellular (turn WiFi off briefly). If anything fails, our support team can sort it out.

Transfer your existing number
In your Halo dashboard, tap Transfer my number. Have your account number, billing zip, and Number Transfer PIN from your old carrier ready. Most ports finish in minutes.

Important

Do not cancel your old line before the port. If you cancel first, your number can be lost. Halo handles the cancellation automatically once the port completes.
